Adding to that.... A bolink of that era would have more likely had a Schumacher diff, and the other diff they used had a different set of hubs that were usually plastic. I think you have a mix n match

There is a Swedish RC company named Minicars made there own 1:12 scald cars

After the Challenger project, MiniCars decided to make their own 1/12 electric car.
In the late 70th century, the class established on a broad front in Sweden and they
produced a "Mini Cars XII" car. The 1/12 guru Olle Soderholm designed the new car.

But the competition court up with them, manufacturers such as Schumacher, Associated
and Delta overtook them on the development side.
So they sold the project to the U.S. Bolink, and they did some cars under their own name with Minicars XII chassis as the base.

70th century! So my parts are from the future!?

Thanks for the info. I'm sure it's a Frankenstein build. The chassis was homemade and it had a 12e front end.

The carbon shaft is for the Tamiya F101 to F103 and Group C, alloy motor mount is for the FF-01, Quick Drive wheels are for some Tamiya Quick Drive (who'd have guessed?) car.

Those last parts are NOT for the TLT.
The first pair of wheels are for the Tamiya Grasshopper/Frog/Hornet/Sand Scorcher/Super Champ. Made by Pro-line or Parma...

I actually think those gold rims are from a rock buster. Proline's gold plating isn't as orange.... I don't think. Could be parma too.

Thanks for the input guys.

The Tamiya Frog-like rims threw me off as they appear small for a 1/10th scale buggy.

Does this thread work in reverse...

Was reading the Sept. '88 & '89 issues of RCCA looking for info on Eddie Knoles's Turbo Scorpion dirt oval car and came across this blurb about the custom transmission he ran in it:
Eddie Knoles, of Del Mar, CA, is
a dirt-oval specialist. He chose a Cox
Turbo Scorpion, which is often called
the "Dinosaur Car." His own Fast
Eddie Transmission is used by some
other A-Main drivers and is expected
to be available soon from JG Manufacturing.
Looking at the race results it was run in a couple of RC10s (a LM & a sprint car) as well as the Scorpion.

Was a "Fast Eddie" transmission ever released by JG and if so does anyone have one they can post a pic of? If it wasn't released does anyone have any more info on it from other magazines that covered the 88 & 89 JG Dirt Oval Championship?
