I'm looking for a chassis kit that I saw on Instagram and ebay. I can't find it anymore. It was full carbon chassis, top plate and shock towers. It was designed for shorty lipo use.

This is what I was talking about. LWD version coming soon...
Nice, my local HobbyTown just called to inform me my Optima Mid came in that I never pre-ordered. Well, there's $420 I wasn't planning on spending.

There's a good chance the box may never be opened, or at least for many years. The Turbo Optima and CAT XLS have been sitting on the shelf unopened for 2-3 years or so. Problem is there's nearly 20 project cars/trucks, and growing, sitting on the shelf ahead of them. And projects get done at a snails pace with my schedule.

I happened upon this video posted on youtube then found it again on Kyosho's corporate website.
It includes some interesting facts and design considerations about the Mid, Optima and Ultima from Akira Kokawa who is in charge of the vintage series development.
"Please look forward to more Vintage Series in the future" - Akira's closing comment. Anyone care to guess what that might be??
I'm building a re-re at the moment. Be very careful when tightening the front camber link to the C-Hub (step 17). The plastic is very soft so it's difficult to feel when the screw is fully tightened. I've wrecked my C-hubs (mushroomed the screw boss) and now I don't have full suspension travel.

Schrödinger's cat. Is there anything in the box?? I wouldn't be able to resist opening....

I wish Kyosho would put the U-joints back in stock, never liked dog bones.

I think that is a common shared issue around here as well as having 20 projects backed up. This kit is too cool to pass up.

That company that scoobyrs25 posted above with the chassis kits also has CVAs for these cars that look promising.
