Might be since the receiver cover is lexan. But the rear wing is just ugly and not Masami's style.

Rick used that kind of paintings in early 90's before he went to silver shells in mid 90's.

i know they are easily changed items, but going by the shock springs and front tires, i would say the second one is Howart.

Just a quick heads up : the japanese magazine RC-World, february 2015 issue, has a 2 page article about Masami's car with 1 page mostly consisting of what appear to be new pics of the original car. braise yourselves: some very yellowed plastics imagery, not for the faint of heart

Please don't scan it ED - nobody will be interested in it :) Still in Japan or do you have an overseas subscription?

I'm visiting my parents-in-law.
They don't have a scanner and I didn't buy the magazine; still can't read Japanese
I can buy one and send it to you when I'm back at home.

Since this thread is somewhat on the subject of other drivers cars.

Most stealth cars were running Yokomos. What Proline front tire were people running at the worlds?

Had a chance to hold these two champs, and visit the lovely Midge Husting and son Curtis. What an honour that was, and to see Gene's office! 8) I now understand a little more about Gene. He was not only instrumental in RC, but created the first rail type dragster for drag racing, and the first angle winder for slotcars! Gene is a legend!

Looks like Brian was running Proline fronts. I don't know what they are called, But if I recollect right Reg hade a pair on his "Build of the Month Contest - August 2014" winner.
