Nope, Unfortunely, I still waiting for the right clear shell. I already collected all the stickers, found the right race numbers...
I planed to recreate a mold but I had no sucess with the only guy able to provide me a used shell to duplicate it :?

So, we have to be patient :x

If you are going to make a new mold, then why not just take a non scooped shell, and make a cast mold, and add the scoop- it's really not that hard and it's what RCPS did anyway-

Sure that's what I plan to do.

But the scoop on the Mirage SS looks not similar to the Turbo Mirage.

And I want to be near than perfect...

To give you a little insight to the one screw in the back of Brian's chassis. Cliff and Curtis bent the chassis behind the rear suspension mounts as close as possible to the motor to give the car more ground clearence at the back of the car to keep from catching the ruts. That's why the one screw.

Brian also ran machined #1 pistons with 30wt. The pistons were prototypes of the new ones and fit a little tighter and the holes were a hair smaller cause they were drilled and not molded.

I can hear the Kinwald-replica guys scurrying to tear apart their rear shocks and pulling apart the rear end to bend the chassis now... ;) Really cool info, I love that stuff!

I have a chassis from the '93 Worlds with the sticker glued and the chassis bent. As soon as I figure out how to post pics in here I will show them.
