Look on the bright side Derek, it's so worth our entertainment
Got the issue fixed I think...New vid coming this weekend hopefully
I checked out the fb video earlier. Too much thrusting cojones.

This little guy was just hanging out so I snapped his pic. They seem to be fairly uncommon to most of the USA, anyone else got Rock Chucks? Basically a 10 pound squirrel

What I never fully determined in my time in NE Oregon was if a "Red Digger" is the same as a Rock Chuck.
But I do know a guy that took second place in a ground squirrel shooting competition. Kinda like comp. Bass fishing but with ground squirrels and boomsticks.

From looking at pics the red digger seems to be a pretty average size squirrel. These are a marmot, more groundhog-ish. Growing up in northern Oregon we had gray diggers. Apparently the gray are ground squirrel and the red are tree squirrel who knew you could learn about squirrels on a RC10 website

No pic but on the subject of wildlife, we had a lone turkey being super annoying today. It kept coming up on the deck multiple times even after scaring it away. Then I was standing in the kitchen when out of the corner of my eye I see something through the front room window. The turkey flew up onto the porch railing! First time we've had a turkey acting like this in the 13 years we've lived here.

I don't mean this to be a sad story, but I spent the morning helping a very old friend clean up his mom's basement. His brother who passed away way too young a couple of years ago had his bedroom/studio down there. Whole place was pouring classic 80s punk. Couldn't help but share.

On the subject of turkeys. Not a pic but video. I'm in the middle of the city yesterday, going to work and there's a wild turkey just crossing the road like this is normal for the area, really don't know how she got all the way out here.
