HA! There is at least 6-7 garlic cloves in it.

Not quite a whole bulb. When it sits on the stove for many hours and stews, the garlic melts away and leaves a great flavor.

Cheated yesterday. Threw 3 seasoned pork steaks in the crock pot with just a little BBQ sauce in the bottom and on top set to low before I left for work. Fell apart when I got home. The fat pulls right out so you can take it out before you pull it. Very easy and very good if anyone wants an easy way to make pulled pork.

Got some new products in a week ago, so started rehashing some old recipes.... first on the list was Vegan Marinara, with non-animal prawns and scallops. Fair to say that it was awesome!!!!!! Lots of garlic, mushrooms, silverbeet and spinach, and heaps of herbs, on a nice tomato base.

Will be making this again!!!

I hate following recipes, but love looking thru cook books for ideas. Grabbed this at the library and it has a great section on grilled pizza. You can probably get it at your local library or on line if you haven't already found the info you were looking for.

The other day I was really in the mood for some smoke so I grabbed some thighs. I find that they hold up to smoke better than any other meat if you're really wanting to hit the throttle. And hit the throttle I did. Full hickory for 2 hours. The smoke was deep and delicious. Served it with some iron skillet seasoned vegetables. It really hit the spot.

I am sitting here after work and watching a Flames game and I might just get up and find something in the freezer to marinate for the night and smoke on Saturday.

Nah, he'd be nice and juicy. I find the Vegans a bit tough though. They don't have enough fat on 'em. :P

I have no idea, but I am sure he would. Yuck!

I did a pork butt in the oven on Monday and it came out great. 7 hours of 225 heat and it pulled apart with two forks like nothing.

On an Incredibly serious side of things, I have a Black bean salsa recipe you all might like. I can eat this every day, and it is so flavorful!

Let me know if it is wanted.
