OK, I've seen some photos and they look very very similar in both design and appearance. But, what I need to know is when can we expect to see the side by side comparison photos of the overall and individual key components? Somebody has to do that.

Mine bounces back and forth between tomorrow and Friday. So knowing ups it will be Monday
The belt is the same, which in turn means the pullies, while plastic, are the same tooth count and the location of the front gearbox has to be within 1.5mm or else that belt wouldn't work. Pretty confident, especially after hearing from people in the know, that they had the Ten4 in hand when "designing" theirs.

It's just rude that they didn't reach out to you , even an accreditation for the design would have been something .

This made me think of Royal's
Ripper. It illustrates the tale of R/C companies knocking off other people's work being as old as time, and has never been right.
It also made me remember how Thunder Tiger has been knocking off models since at least the early '80s.

I'll do some pics as well, they copied parts from the original Ten4 as well as the 4.1 so items like the tensioner and knuckles and carriers won't look like 4.1 parts but next to an original you can see the heritage. The idlers are copied off the Robinson design we used on the first one as well, I haven't had a set of those in years so I'll see if I can dig up pics.

Now that i think of it, AE giving Jeff any accreditation would be admitting they copied his design. And admitting that they copy others is likely not in their interests business wise.

Yeah thats exactly it. I was told there are only so many ways to do it so it's going to look similar

Gee...you'd almost think R/C companies will copy anything. Even tire treads. Oh wait...
