I had dinner at a Belgian restaurant in Halifax last night and enjoyed a beer that I discovered while in Europe, it's called Gulden Draak. It's a strong beer at 10.5% but it's very drinkable at the same time, not something you have to struggle through. And you really only need to drink a few of them before you start to feel the effects

Not really a first beer for the night, but I thought I'd share my beer bottle cap collection. Also, is a cigarette collection for all you non-smokers. (Nasty habit, I know) Both contain brands from around the world.

The beer cap collection and display is impressive.

For me, Just some more Sam Adams Alpine Spring (on tap this time) and some fried pickles as an appetizer.

Deep fried pickles are awesome! I made a huge batch of chilli in honor of your B Day, forgot to snap some pics. Downed it all with some simple budweiser. Canadian bud though.

In the interest of ballance Adam, A Deschutes Mirror Pond Pale Ale for me tonight then.

I wish it were hot enough today to truly appreciate this, but it's one that will definitely be kept in the fridge all Summer. Very refreshing after a day of yardwork.

Well Spring has sprung and the only bad part is that my allergies have my voice a little raspy. Luckily Dr. Adams has the perfect prescription. And he makes house calls...

A little Sam Adams, Spicy Italian Sausage and Artichoke Hearts on a home made pie to kick off my 3 day weekend.

Had a couple of Brewdog Punk IPA's last night. Great beer which i would highly recommend.
