Would 1/10 scale rear tires work as 'truck tires'?

If you can find appropriate tires for a vintage rc10 or tamiya hornet/etc. I mocked up the 2.2 truck wheels and 2.0 buggy rear wheels as well as the mini jrx2 wheel and then scaled down the 1/10 wheels together until the 2.0 buggy wheel was the same size as the mini wheel to achieve the mini truck wheel size. Whew long run on sentence.. the resulting wheel was perfect for those tires I found for the rc10 classic... so yes 1/10 tires will work for mini truck if you can find small enough 1/10 tires :)

Looks good! I think 2” is a good compromise for scale look and tire choices. I would prefer the Jrxt 3pc or Junior T wheels though..

Working on it =)
These tires are actually 1.7" made for the original RC10, the 2.0 tires just looked too big to me.

They have very... complicated curves.

The LXT ones were first because aside from their dust shields they are very simple... and I did all those parts for the LXT lol.
The JrxT ones will be done after that.

What printer are you using? So many choices. Been looking at the ender 3 s1 or v2. Prices vary wildly depending on options. What do 8 really need. Get base and add on or get it decked out?

Let me guess, posting from a phone lol. I have a pair of mostly stock Ender 3 Pros, been primarily using the one with the glass bed. I went with them at the time because they had the better power supply. Now they have newer Ender 3 models with better features.

Just uploaded the LXT wheels to Cults.

The wheels seem to work fine but as per the originals the front wheel is not a direct bolt on of the jrx2 as the back spacing is suited for the long arms and modified knuckle and hub of the lxt, as it is they rub on the jrx2 tie rod... just like the originals

They are also sized for the Jconcepts tire.. actually more accurately they are scaled down to the Mini Jrx2 rear wheel scale which turned out to be basically the perfect size for the Jconcepts tires, this was something that I was amazed by. If the sidewall height of these tires were a little shorter it would be perfect but I am calling the wins when I get them.

The Jconcept 1.7 inch tires are being sold for the RC10 classic which we know is discontinued so like all aftermarket parts future availability is not certain. If you even think of doing this you might want to pick up a set of them...

Managed to get the battery to fit into an original styled Battery Box by moving it forward a couple mm and cutting a slot for the wires. It now fits in a stock Mini Jrx2 with stock electronics and battery. I have also included the original live hinge model if you have a decent semi flexible filament to use and the original base of the hinged version that would work well if you move the box forward or make a new chassis.

I've had mine for a week and have yet to drive it. I guess I'm bitter that 3 of the 4 shocks appear to be empty. Who do I contact at Losi to get replacement parts?

Hey Battletrak, you want to give a try to this? I have not yet modeled the front wheel.. lots of curvy annoyance in these lol

I am currently printing lots of black stuff so don't have time to switch to white. These are still sized more or less for those Jconcepts tires.

This is a test file for impaitient folks ;)
