Guys, not to jack Al's thread, but I pulled some of my originals molds today from storage. I do have the 1/10 Greenwood Corvette mold. I didn't read back in the posts, but I thought I remember someone saying 1/12 didn't do anything for them. If you all want some 1/10, or 1/12 of the vette (have that one too), just let me know.

I have one original AE vette, that I could do a repro of, just not sure..... Bruce already makes one. Nothing against Bruce, as I respect his effort and his product, but I have his Mclaren, Chaparral, and 917. I believe them to be made of PETG, of which I personally don't like using. It doesn't keep it's shape very well. There are some advantages and disadvantages to it. Just personal preference.

Jay, I think they are actually both Mk8a and the 1st picture looks really nice. You'll have to excuse me but seeing that body does things similar to you and Thorp talk. I'll be back in a couple of minutes. That 1st body looks very similar to the one with that Dynamic McLaren Mk8a kit. Ooh boy I'm too old for this kind of excitement.

yeah, the first pic is an original Dynamic. It is that Bucyrate (sp?) material, I understand most of the early clear bodies are of this same material. I've got an original Dyanmic 917 body in the box as well. Very flexible stuff, like PETG and everyone I have seen yellows with time. I picked up another Mclaren-ish type body when I visited Scr8p's place last year. I don't know which box it is in.... somewhere in storage.
