Ahhh major bummer. That weekend is the SCCA June Sprints at Road America, which means Keith and I are both out. Too bad, we would have really enjoyed this event.

Come on, Thats only a couple hours away!

Oh yeah, 6 hours there, 6 hours back... that would make for a fun day of qualifying on Saturday. LOL

Monticello is 20 miles west of Champaign on I-72 and Champaign is 130 miles south of Chi-town 2 and a half - 3 hour drive one way.

It's all good for this weekends get-together. Track is ready and a temp. drivers stand installed. looks like a nice weekend for runnin' some "VINTAGE"

Lee and I just wanted to thank everyone who came out for this event. We had a blast. Thanks bro for coming up from Florida to be at this event. Thanks to Lee Morrison from Horizon Hobbies for bringing out his rare vintage cars. We saw some neat cars and trucks. The track was in great shape(will post pics soon) Rick!!

This was a BLAST!!

I have never tuned or raced a RC10T2.

Racer Rick found out just how fast I am!!!

Now we are even up, next time we race is for the $$$$

The BEST part of the day were the KIDS that have NEVER been on a track before!!

To menter these new to the hobby was and is PRICELESS!!!!

Thanks Lee for all your "wise" words to this KIDS (some of the kids were the the DADS and MOMS!!!).
