shodog you are a machine!!!!!!!!

Great buildup, do you have a "spare" garage to hold all of your beautiful RC cars?

Thanks for the compliments. I am just waiting on the suspension arms from tower to come in so that I can finish it off.

One thing I have learned with this build. the RPM rear bulkhead is 80 thousands wider than a stock one. so when it came time to bolt up the rear top deck supports, nothing lined up. So I modified them by milling 40 thousands off each side

I guess little snafu's are expected considering that I am using all sorts of aftermarket parts from different manufactures

I finished off the build of the chassis today. I think it came out pretty sweet looking. I would still like to polish out the wheels though. I just haven't had time to make it over to my neighbors to use his lathe. As you can see from the pictures, it's loaded with aftermarket parts. Here is a list of what I used.

Composite Craft double decker team chassis, shock towers, battery strap and transmission brace.

Team Associated stealth transmission gears, motor plate, rear guard, hard anodized dampers, ball bearing composite steering linkage, ball ends and cups, caster blocks, front axles, wing tubes, body mounts and aluminum screws

RPM gear case, rear suspension mounts, rear suspension arms, rear hub carriers, rear bulkhead, front bulkhead, front suspension arms, front steering knuckles

MIP CVDs, Tecnacraft titanium turnbuckles, Team Losi Hydra Drive slipper gear, RC performance specialties titanium hinge pins.

JPS aluminum wheels with Team associated TQ 20 rear tires and TQ 71 front tires.

did ya change your mind on customizing the wheels, or is it still up in the air?

My thought was to annodize the wheels in either black or gold then take off what I need. It's easy to do with tecnacraft wheels because the lip is separate from the center but it may be hard to do with a one piece wheel. I need to talk to the guys at work and see what they think

Sweet car. I agree about the black centers too, that would be sick.

Oh, very nice Jim,

I see you are as busy here as you are at Tamiyaclub.

Great looking project.

Unlike Tamiya club where there is little interest in the RC10, here is where the true nuts hang out. Today I installed a motor in this chassis and took some revised pics. I also replaced the tires on my MIP grpahite car with some nice TQ spikes
