Which came first, an AE or Kyosho RC? Pretty sure Kyosho as a company is slightly older, just not sure who was first with a RC production car.

Probably someone else was 'first', but I'm just thinking of existing on going concerns.

hmm, think Tamiya was first boys.

I think Associated was formed in the late 60's or early 70's, I'm not sure when Tamiya was founded.

Sorry, off topic, but I did some digging . . .

According to Kyosho's website, they were the first Japanese R/C car manufacturer with the Dash I in 1970

Tamiya released their first R/C in 1974, M4 Sherman Tank.

Well, three months after putting this on the workbench it's basically built. I built it right out of the box except for the See's wheels and Losi tires I got from bearrickster. (Thanks) The wheels need a little polish and the body needs a final trim, paint and decals but it might stay in this condition for a while. It will most likely end up in storage while I figure out a new work shop. All in all it was a pleasure to build, no headaches or surprises.

That looks great Gary, I would lower that rear body mount a little. those wheels look better on that truck than in a box at my house. now get it painted up!!

Thanks Rick. If the weather holds I might start slinging some paint this weekend. I have a couple more cars to build before everything gets put away, including a Hotshot and a Pro.
P.S. The rear body mount has since been trimmed and we're sitting level.
