Thanks Bongo. I like to have my cars with correct batteries in them, but if there is a chance of them wrecking my chassis. I think I may do that with some clear shrink wrap.

Gee RETRO... I wonder where that body came from?

1) because they were "outlawed" by ROAR in 1992

2) because it further adds the "early" effect

3) because your 10t didn't have them
maybe you misunderstood me. the 7001 team truck kits (the earliest ones) came with 2 different front tires in the kit (3 complete pairs of tires). the narrow ones, and the proline 7045's. so, how would the 7045's not add the "early effect"?

all i'm saying is there's 2 options out there that will still be "correct" to use on an early 10t. just wondering why everyone picks the same option. i think the 7045's are cool as hell.
I just love the look of the narrow front's, it makes the early 10T special (not Reg and Halgar's type of special, short bus, hockey helmet  ). No other trucks had them! I have a mint set of wide fronts, but then it just looks like a normal 10T.

Thanks for all the compliments, and thanks to all the guys on RC10talk that I got parts to make this truck complete. My former near mint shelf queen will now be a runner!  I will enjoy that!

Paul, I sure hope my cells don't leak! I never really thought about it. I keep them dead, don't know if that will stop them?
That's too bad, about the short bus because you don't know this yet--but I am a Proline RED pimp as well--and was going to make up the MIA gear covers with a set of NIP Pro-45's Oh Well

Me and Brandon tried and tried to get Hoop to run wide fronts at the VONATS, he ran 'em for about 5 laps and pulled them off. I have to admit I love the look of the narrow fronts too.

I've done the rear arm thing, and actually raced the thing like that for a whole race day before noticing

Do the skinny fronts work with new J82 rubber?
I saw someone use them back in the day for 1 race just said it gave too much understeer, only time i've ever seen them used..
