1.02" shock bodies with the .71" shafts would be the same length as 1.02" shocks when compressed, and then approximately 0.31" shorter than standard 1.02" shocks when extended.

now would a pair of b44 front shocks be the right length for a worlds front end? maybe, but the shock bodies are still too short, so you'll end up putting uptravel limiters on the outside of the shock to compensate for it.
Makes sense as to why I can't find any .89" shafts then...  I gues I have all I need to build front shocks for the carbon tower I got from atlas that uses the .89's  But thats another project entirely, I'll just stick with the way RPM intended it for my worlds tower.... Do you have the specifics for the limiters in the 1.02" shocks? I.E. how many? of what thickness each? or a total limiting length? Thanks!

I just picked up 2 pairs of the yellow RPM springs too, $4 per pair, shipped loose with no P/N. FYI...if anyone needs a pair, email RPM tech support (asking for the yellow springs that go to the worlds front end) and they will tell you how to order them.
