I don't know if ANY good can come out of this rere, but for those in need of a cheap body for their resto effort... you could fill the holes/sand/paint just as you would have to do with a nearly 30 year old warped, scraped, broken, brittle, abused one. Seems like a better starting point to me.

I kind of envision the body best used for a hack job. Can you visualize it with the fenders removed and the back ugly curved part of the "hatchback" cut off. Mount it on a lowered street car - I kind of envision it looking something like a Caterham Super Seven. Can anyone else see it??

I also think it could be dressed up well as an off road buggy. Again, fenderless and with the back of the greenhouse removed. Maybe fab up a cage for back there...

Honestly if they just shortened the suspension arms and mounted up the original wheels so they fit under the fenders I think most nostalgia buyers would have seriously considered it. As it is a lot of Tamiya Corporate product professionals are going to be sitting around wondering why the Holiday Buggies aren't moving.

So how long until someone takes an RC-10 DS, shortens it, and mounts up a Holiday Buggy body and some vintage wheels. I think it might just be the next SCollins Scorcher fad...
