All very interesting discussion.....
I still find amazing how the RC10 was such a runaway success..... 5000 is alot of units to sell!... and that was just the first run
Especially when you consider that the car was a competition based vehicle, their couldn't have been 'too' many people racing in what would have been fledgling years for the sport. Alot of people must have just brought them for 'fun' use? And at the end of the day it would have been a very expensive purchase (the price of the kit is comparable to the price of the latest B4)
I wonder how production figures compare between the rival companies like Losi & Schumacher?.... Though perhaps after the initial excitement aroused by the RC10 being released - the market had settled down ??
