So this project has taken some twists and turns, but I am in it now. I am looking for one last thing for it, because I think I have all that I need except for:

Image

I need another set of these babies. I have a ton of bright white original steering parts for trade, but I really like these and want a set of them on this project.....

So I'm testing out my ne phone. Says 8mp camera on it, and wanted to see how clear the pictures are, plus wanted to updat with some pictures.

I have to give a shout out to Atlas in this. His parts are just fantastic!

So I'm not that impressed with the close up shots of this phone so far (HTC Droid Incredible).

I took a page out of Doug's book (Eau Rouge) and used shock shafts for the hinge pins, and really like the looks of it......

nice build so far....

you won't get a good picture out of a camera phone with a fixed focal point in all picture scenarios, especially at the extremes(close/far). It will take better pics from a few feet away, which is really what that camera is intended for.

I'll try that next.

I'm going for a Black/white/blue theme. I was thinking of using FT turnbuckles, but I am unsure at this point. I picked up some sweet white JConcepts turnbuckle ends (ball cups), and will be using those instead of the peroxided originals.

So I panted the shell today, was in a painting kind of mood. I was going for black and silver, but needed to change it up because I shot silver by accident first.

Pin striping is awesome as painting tape by the way.....

Lighting was crappy, I will take better pictures when I get home.

waiting on a few things, so I thought I would throw out an update.

The whole concept I am going with for this car is Black/White/FT Blue. This car is getting modern FT V2 shocks and white wheels. The nose tubes are getting coated white, and I am having more of the aluminum servo posts made in white as well.

I think I am going to do another shell to better reflect what I am trying to accomplish, with more black and white, no silver. I think the shell I had painted for this car will go on the first RHS build I did.

God, I'm all over the road sometimes.......

This build has been at a stand still since my last post. I have everything I need, and painted a shell for it, but I have been extremely busy finishing my degree (just graduated, 21 years AFTER high school).

I am actually thinking of selling 3 of the rc10s I have completed as rollers (sans motor-esc). I'm having more fun beating the crap out of stadium trucks right now with the kids......

Worked on this one last night. Ordered some LOHAS wheels for it as well, this is going to be my shelf queen. Had to disassemble the front because there wasn't enough clearance between the tie rods and the steering rods, so I moved the tie rods to an outer hole. Now I need shorter rods (well I don't, but the car does). Need to assemble the rear shocks and get them on as well.

Now that I have graduated from school, and retire on the 1st of July from the reserves, I have a bit more time to continue on with this hobby....

Awesome! I have 12 years active duty Navy service under my belt, wish I had time for the reserves but with my current job it's pretty much impossible. Would like to finish school too.

Anyways, buggy looks really good, those parts look extreme white in the photos, mine don't ever seem to come out like that.
