Like i said i had fitted some losi ribbed tires to the spare rims and they fit fine so that proves your right on 2.2s fitting. I also found these tires i think they are originally for the XL1 spec bandit. Which i believe i have a spare pair of here on rims. Except i think i think they are glued so thats a moot point lol.

Custom works also has some street type tires but i would rather find an offroad type.

Im also looking at the JC wheels on ebay that have been mentioned here a few times. So thats an easy enough way to run modern 2.2 tires on my gold pan.

Thanks for the links for the off road tires guys!! Now all i need to do is put away some cash to buy a few pairs lol. The Tamiyas would go well with the Traxxas fronts i found. And the losis would go well with the Losi ribbed tires i have on the spare rims at the moment.
Awesome i see that Amain has the traxxas ones i listed as well. So i might as well just order the Traxxas fronts and losi rears from there in one order lol.

Now that I got my paypal issue resolved and sold some unneeded spare parts I can move forward on this. I will be ordering at least one pair of the losi step pin tires this week. I'm also going to see if I can find that spare pair of traxxas tires I had around here to see if they are glued to the rims. Either that or order some losi ribbed fronts in a matched pair to go with the step pins. I still plan on getting some of the JC wheels for this buggy as well so I can run proline ribbed tires up front and dirt hawgs on the rear. The main bits I need to find for this buggy to make it a nice clean runner is a better condition fron kick up plate and the full steering bell crank set up be it stock or aftermarket alloy. This will never be a 100% mint condition buggy I'm gonna make it into a nice clean runner and enjoy it as it is ment to be. I'm gonna see about getting some clear vinyl to make a chassis protector from to preserve the tub and reduce future damage from driving it.

Those RPM fronts are a replacement for the wide arms (champ, team car, etc.). They will fit, but you'd need to lengthen your turnbuckles and use .71" shocks. The rears are a direct fit.

how do the front arms compare in length to the dynotech arms? are these the so called worlds arms that you guys keep mentioning in the old is new threads?

the RPM arms are the same size as the standard AE "wide" arms. the all elusive "worlds" RPM front arms and the dynotech arms are the same size, to run them, you must use a truck front noseplate/bulkhead.

ahhh ok. How will these RPM arms affect the front track though? It will be widened slightly wont it?

The axles from scr8p arrived today. So i changed them then while i was working on the buggy i decided to install one of the 27 turn motors i had here which were a Epic Binary stock motor and a Trinity Midnight 2 27 Turn motor. I couldnt find the epic at the time so i installed the trinity motor. From what i remember of that motors performance it seemed to work alright in the previous installs i used it in. So i will run it in the buggy for now and switch to a different motor if it burns out. Was worried that the motor might be too hot for the CXII ESC but then remembered that most stock class racing used 27 T motors so it should be fine.
