bigjeepzz wrote:Miguel I agree with Reggie. When I built my car, the tub was very flexible without the braces. I originally was going to run without them but then realized I would need them.
Those braces should look awesome on the car.
Jake
I have not added the bracing because I can't get my battery hold to work with it; I am going to play with this for a bit.

Reg I don't think you are suppose to go nose diving on any jump.
Yeah, but it was really cool- there was a large camelback that led into a single, then double and a 90deg left. I found that if I rolled the camelback and pinned it at the peak all the way into the single fast and then hit the brakes hard as soon as I crested the single, that I could triple the whole section and still be good for a fast corner because of all the momentum created by the tail whipping higher than the front-but you had to pin the throttle to make the landing right..........
it took me a few "attempts" to figure this out-hence the chassis

Cool stuff Reg. I will be setting this guy up with some sort of bracing. Thanks for the recommendation.

Why did someone leave a water bladder on the track and why did you roll over it? No wonder why you took a dive off the jump

I will be setting this car up with some more custom parts like chassis brace to add more strength and will probable come up with a different way to hold the battery down.
I am planning to run this with a Novak GT 7 and brushed motor for the moment before I move on to brushless.

Check out my green nose RC10 runner on the back ground.
More updates next year, we have a family trip planed so it will be next year when i update this. Thanks for the comments.

Sweet, looks like a TON of time and effort, now it just needs a custom painted body,

!
Where are gear covers available, any luck finding one yet?

Miguel, that is a sharp looking build man. I have alway thought the white tub would look great and you have definately nailed a perfect build.
I hope the parts fit good for you. I can't wait to hear how the car runs on the track. I am happy with my red car and this is pretty much built with the same parts. Can't wait to see what you do for a paint job.

I had this Protech body from an older shelf car that I replace with a Mirage so I decided to trim this one up for this car... There is something about a nicely trimmed down Protech body that make me like it even more now that I use to BITD...
Check out my wing buttons to go with the stealth plug... I think it is bad A$$,
Thanks Jake.
Paint and electronics coming soon.
