Have 50 grand laying around that you don't know what to do with? If so you're in luck:

Thanks!
I have no plans to use the wing, but I do want to make a partial engine cover similar to the real one.
I believe the real one had a enclosed V8, but I'd
like to stick with a VW.
I've got the stinger coming out the back, so I need to come up with something that dosen't cover it up.
I like the spare tire idea though...
It won't be
exactly like the Jesse James version, but I intend to borrow a few ideas..

Front A-arms switched to get closer to the real thing's look.
Still need to get the logos cut in vinyl..mock up & minor details ironed out...

It looks like it would be rather EZ to install longer shocks and tower and cut the body out to match the 1:1.
Looks good BTW!!!

Thanks.
I like the idea, but that body is
really tough to cut.
Since it'll be a runner anyway, I figure it'll be close enough (for me) to the real thing.
It's more of an inspired build than a true scale replica.

Not a 100% scale, but it's getting closer to what I'd planned...
One more side to go, then final details..

Hmmm, ..."space saver" spare tire?
