testors paint should be easily removable with testors thinner. it never 'cures' just loses it's solvent, so you can just apply thinner until it wipes away. I think it's toluene and mineral spirits, which I think is OK on lexan. But check the compatibility.

Having some trouble finding the Testors thinner. I haven't tried the local hobby lobby yet. Is this something that is stocked or is it a special order?? Would regular thinner work or would it melt the lexan?

wow ireg! after reading the first post, i said to myself why is this guy wasting his time. but what a great job! i cant believe it came out that good!!! i just took the body that came with my last eBay car out of the trash and am going to give stripping the paint a try! thanks!!

If you guys have stripped a body and have the "hazed" windows, try spraying them with a clear coat. In most cases, that will make the windows clear again.
