I have been wanting to get a new buggy to race and this came at perfect timing. I don't need all the extra stuff from the 4.1 and this car will be perfectly fine at club level races. I may order the 8mm chassis a bit down the road.

Can anyone recommend a motor and ESC for the B4? I was looking at the Reedy 3300 and the XP speed control package. The XP sc450, or the sc700 (water resistant?)

I am not sure if that is for a SC truck though. It is made for a 2WD vehicle, so I thought it would work.

It is brushless of course, and I am not going to be racing it. Also some suggestions on gearing would be great. What brands are commonly used for AE and tooth count?

That combo is great for the money, I believe the truck spur/pinion is.around 87/19-21

Have any of you that ordered a B4 since the 17th gotten a confirmation that your oder was charged and shipped?

Nevermind. Just as I was posting this I got the email from ups. Figures.

I got a confirmation they are out of kits today.

I got an email back from them saying that the conformation will not be sent to me til the order was processed and charged to the card.

I emailed them back and told them to go ahead, and I wanted to add some things to the order.

I am going to need a brushless system to run it, and if I got a deal I would buy a servo as well.

No answer back yet.

Just got my shipping confirmation from UPS!

The last stock of cheap B44 kits seems to have dried up on eBay and amainhobbies. Wondering if there are anymore sources to pick one of those up cheap.

Shoot, I was hoping to pick one of these up after Christmas.

I might have it in my hands before the new year, but I doubt it. More like the 2nd week of jan if I am lucky.
