Was the TQ chassis available in a kit of the shelf?

Yes, but you don't have a TQ chassis anyway so it doesn't matter.

they have to be fairly rare. i can't say i've ever seen any other ones, besides the 2 i had and the one in your pic.
and i'd say the rarity has gone up on them since mrlexan is the one that purchased the 2 i had. you know damn well they'll never be seen again.

I had a similar project where I wanted to build an RC10 with all hopups, My Pepsi RC10 is close to having no original RC10 parts.

Good luck on your project man.
The only thing stock on mine is:
axles and carriers
front tower that has been cut down
battery cups
jelly bean wheels
Stealth transmission

i have an rc10 graphite edition i bought off ebay a couple years ago for $100... It has very few stock things as well. I think only the body posts, tranny brace, radio antenna holder, battery cup, rear bulkhead and front arms are stock. It's got some really weird rear shock tower. I'll have to get some pics up to show it but can anyone identify it? It's fairly thick (nearing 1/4"), has 1 very large hole cut in the middle of it, it's fairly narrow (no "wings" like standard shock towers). I also still have yet to get my graphite chassis identified...it looks like the standard Associated chassis with NO markings on it anywhere and it has 3 large holes running down the center under the battery. The chassis was originally built for both a 6 gear tranny or a stealth. I've heard it could be an HPI but I'm not too sure. Anyway, nice build!
