Your hypothesis is invalid!

I guess I probably should've specified 1:10 scale...

Ordinarily this is true, but I have NOT veered off course in this particular debate. Cole said there were no rc "rides", to which he was merely shown the error in his beliefs. It's not often I have anything relevant to add and ain't nobody gonna take that away!

For me this whole subject boils down to: “things we type on the internet, but never say in real life”.

For instance, I might say “That rig is off the HOOK!” on line…

But in real life I even laugh at myself when I say it out loud. Hey, look at the old middle-class white guy tryin’ to sound cool!

The internet is a place where your personality can speak for itself without being altered by things such as social awkwardness, physical shortcomings or moral hang-ups. You can be the “you” that you want to be even if it’s not exactly who you are in real life. That being said, there is a big difference between personality exaggerations and complete fabrications.

I’ll explain further after this short educational video. It helps to further my point…

Here is why I personally don’t exaggerate on line further than maybe some of the terminology that I use.

People who are into r/c typically have some brains even if they don’t appear to(on the track  ). The tinkering aspect of it is a quick sign toward cognitive ability. Intelligence comes in all forms. That is one reason why I firmly believe that you can’t necessarily judge a person’s intelligence by their grammar or spelling. For one thing Firefox or any other browser can check that for you. Not to mention things like spatial visualization or problem solving certainly don’t lend themselves to either of those qualities. Some of the smartest people I know can’t spell worth a damn.

My point being: most members of this forum can see their way right thru bullcrap. :)

Therefore pretending to be someone you’re not isn’t going to hold up for more than a few posts.

And THAT my friends is why you might see me post a phrase like:

“Damn dog that is a sick ride! That whip is even more dope than my rig!”

OK, not really, but still you get my point. :D

I have never thought to refer to a 10th scale as a ride. Even though when I showed a pic to a friend he said nice rides. I told him jokingly I tried that once but broke it. He just stared at me confused. Needless to say I think someone cut the power to his light bulb

As for the dinky donoughts conversation it had my insides hurting.
