So i checked out redneck r/c and the track is awesome, very vintage friendly layout, wide straights and you don't have to huck your car if you don't want to. Jeff at the shop was really friendly, there Wednesday night club race has a good turn out and they are open for practice everyday except Wednesday and Saturday when they race.

I didn't get his last name, but they said due to the drop in oval racing and popularity in offroad they made a switch. i don't know if they have 2 locations, but the baldwinsville location is a great set up. it is a nice track, pits, and stocked hobby shop and everyone is friendly. i definately be going there to run . I might even have to start racing again...

Hi guys, can a rochester guy come put and race too?? I'm not sure if you guys have heard of a local track just south of the Rochester area called Makkin Traxx?? It is am awesome outdoor clay off road track built for 1/8 scale. We have raced there a few times but I have yet to put an RC10 on it. Check it out:

MakinTraxx is an awesome facility run by Brian Davin. We made it out for one of their last races of the season last year and plan to make it out again.

Redneck no longer runs the clay oval in Fulton, that is now being run by Scott Victory and will be known as Victory RC Speedway 2? I guess he cleaned it up pretty good and he's running Tuesday nights on the indoor oval until the outdoor season starts up.

Redneck's indoor offroad in Baldwinsville is top notch. It's not a huge track and the jumps aren't too crazy. I bet he'd put a vintage race on if there was enough interest. At the very least run a class of them on a regular race day.

Is there going to be a weekend get together somewhere in New York State?

Would there be any interest in such a get together? The Team Soup guys plan to get together at Outback Raceway in Cortland, NY to shake down our Vintage builds before heading out to VONats in Sept. I could try to make it something more official if there would be a big enough group wanting to run some vintage..

What weekend will they be meeting? I can't make it to Vonats this year, and I want to do some racing.

I'd be down when I get back. Of course, I'd have to hit up Reg or get an RC10 for dummies book to get my RC10's up to par.

I just went to The newly remodeled EastRidge raceway in Irondequoit NY in Rochester. Brian has done an amazing job with this place. I really need to get the stealth car done and get it out there ASAP!! Check it out:
