Build it, paint it box art, put some Tamiya wheels and tires on it, run it once, then shelve it.
I had one when I was 13 in 1989, it was super fun!
A friend got an Avante as a Birthday present and was talking all kinds of smack of how he was going to drag my ass.
By the time he gets it built and comes over, my Le Mans 240ST's brushes were dust and the only other motor I had was a plain old Tamiya 540 from my Blackfoot.
I bolted it in and...still beat his Avante!
Man, he was not a happy boy!
A month later I was zooming it up and down the road when the battery dumped and some idiot ran it over, on purpose, in a car!
The front end needed so many parts and a new chassis, so I traded it for another car.
When I got back into RC as an adult, I saw people restoring vintage cars.
I went out and bought a clapped out Turbo Ultima and restored it to as new.
Never did run it, it just sits on my shelf, perfect forever.
That's my Turbo Ultima story.
