That will never ever happen to those pretty nice MIP shocks

You're gonna cut the MIP gearbox...?
I'd put a stealth back in it and install some trick internals...like 64p gears. Put the MIP 'box in another project...

Avoid hacking motor plates, etc.

i don't know how much your going for "period" correctness, but instead of altering a 2.25 stealth motor plate, how 'bout using a b3 motor plate like i did on my worlds tub? but a black one. just a suggestion.
awesome build, by the way.

I could not bring myself to cut that beauty, nor the RRP toe-in tracker. Like I said, I have no other project on the table, but some modifications, cleaning and TLC on a few older projects and I would like that MIP gerabox to stay on this one, I like it...

That could do the trick Jason, but besides saving a black motor plate, is there anything else that could be easier to set-up with the B3 plate? I guess you guys just don't want another Stealth black motor plate missing on the market

I also found that since the MIP change gerabox has a wider diff, the outdrives are slightly raised compared to a Stealth and then you have to place some more inner spacers in the shocks in order for the CVD's not to pop-up... Anyway, that car won't ever see the track as long it is in my hands

That's an outstanding build, Asso_man - great looking car. I never knew those T&A wheels could look so nice. I think I'll go polish my set!

Yup, they look awesome IMO, mine were almost grey and not shiny at all, I just polished them by hand with some metal cleaning product and in a 10 minutes time they were like that

Thanks for your comments

Yeah, I also considered attaching a cord in the front in order to make a pulling about car out of it

Ya, and take some vocal lessons so you can get the vroom vroom sounds just right.

Those MIP shocks are my favourite!!!!! The hard coating seems to last a really long time without losing anything. I've been luck to find a few sets of those at a few different hobby shops and I use them on a few different cars and trucks.
I'm also looking for and MIP change box to complete a Tekin Mid-motor truck chassis kit with a T4 front end. I was hoping tho find a Lethal Weapon but that looks like it won't be happening for sometime now...

HI guys, I got this bodyshell with a recent Team Car purchase and was wondering who made it and when approximately. I still have to solve that darn interference on this car between the RR adjustable rear toe-in carriers and the MIP tranny, I'll keep you posted...
