Could you go get me a couple pair?

Thanks! I don't think there is anyway to get this exact without getting a replica of the cage and what ever that black material inside that is below the cage. Oh, and that seat and steering wheel, lol. I'm not too worried about the tires being slightly off.

It's been a while, but even though this project has been in my back pocket I'm still moving forward with it. I finally got a decent RC10 off of ebay this morning. It's will make a good base with all the correct parts for a 6016, but needs a new nose plate. Looks like the only thing replaced is the spur gear.
Here's the link to ebay

I'll post better picks when I get it home, but here's one of the photos

Oh crap, didn't realize they disappeared too. Thanks for reposting them Brian.
I'm not looking forward to dying all these white parts black, but it's gotta be done. Other than that, it's going to be a fun build.

Does anyone recognize this dashboard? I was thinking it had to be something from another RC from the same time era.
The interior of this thing is going to be a nightmare to reproduce.

I lost the auction on the rear aluminum wheel pieces but I was told I had a second chance on them and can buy them for $52. Am I just being cheap or is that a little high?

Finally got the car in hand along with some NIP rubber. A big thanks goes out to Reggie for those. I also scored some rear aluminum covers for the build as well. Here's a quick pre-build shot.

The tear down has begun and now comes my least favourite part of a restoration...the cleaning, blah. I'm going to have a bunch of nice white clean parts sitting in front of a pot of black dye. The initial thoughts were to save them, but they are going to a good project, so it's okay. I will sub in any black parts I currently have though, just to minimize the loss.
