Me again.
In regards of the dirty arm holes: I normally use "Pipe Cleaners" soaked with motor or brake cleaner to wipe out the holes but I ran out of them. Will buy a new pack before I start the rebuild of the suspension.

Ok guys,
time for a litte update. After cleaning the parts and soaking them in chlorine I started to reasemble the chassis. The rear bulkhead is stil in horrible condition as there is some "stuff" in the batterie opening that is very hard to get rid off. It seems that the pre-owner had a batterie "blow" while it was attached in the chassis. Maybe that's where the colourings are from. Anyway. Since this one will become a runner I do not care to much about it . That's also why I opted to re-use most of the screws that came with the car.
Two changes I did so far is mounting a rear RC10T shocktower from Fibre-Lyte (thanks Siebelelch!) and changing the steering bushings for 3/8" x 1/4" flanged bearings. To eliminate the axial slop I attached two thin washers between the steering arms and the chassis plate.
Cheers
Seb

Thx Temple.
Here's a quick update. I attached a pair of Andy's arms (only hardly used) on the rear along with RC10T rear zero degrees rear hubs and some stronger turnbuckles (Losi, to be honest ...

)
I used AE ball cups but I think I will go for RPM's as the AE's are way too sloppy even when new ...

The last one for today - have to clean up the workshop and pick up my better half.
Unfortunately although I thought it was different I did not have "long" Andy's arms for the front. I only found the short ones. Because of that I mounted the used black ones that came with the Worlds Car. I will have to swap them and the arm/damperstay holder for new ones as the current ones are veeery sloppy ...
Cheers

Dr R's right, a soak in the acetone will get any stubborn adhesive residue off.

The official term should be 'siebenelched'. Damn, the slammed Protech looks is so killer. I'm on it with the technicolor vomit racer... Now where did I put that
white 10T rear shock tower..?

Hi guys,
I needed a break from planning the next issue of Racer so I roughly mounted some old gold shocks and a random tyre/wheel combo beside setting up the studio properly. I am not 100% happy with the result but is still in progress (the photo studio).
Cheers
