I got a NIP brace also from toprcsupply.com. I think you may be best off getting a brace from fibre-lyte, as you should be able to get it in thicker carbon fiber so that lasts longer. As for the ballstuds, I can measure them when they arrive...whenever that will be...

I need new shock towers too as as the guy raced these i think the common them was to trim all the corners in the towers so they dont snap off when the car crashed.

do u know if a ZD671 can be used to replace the slipper spur and clutch plate on a standard TCS?? ie just the spur side?? looks pretty close to me? if i have used the wrong terminology sorry...i think the bit i want to swap it with is the zc641 ..

Are you referring to the clutch hub? I don't quite understand why you'd want to do that. That hub is meant for the 870C-type original spur gears.

No have a look at the part and its very similiar to the slipper plate on a tcs...i have a worn one and cant find a replacement..this looks close.

Ps did u just get those wheels on fleabay??

Oh, that thing. It does look pretty close, but if the spur mounts onto that, then you'll have no way of making a slipper clutch out of it. I guess you could give it a try, though? Never hurts to have more Yokomo parts than you need, because you never know what other chassis you'll acquire in the future that might need it.

It´s the same, just for fine pitch belt. M2 instead of M3

Tou could still run a 3mm with it couldnt you?? Or is it too narrow??

for the record this is the bit I wanted to see if the part mentioned could replace...it would mount to the spur and clutch pad...
this is with the inner spur taken off...which I didn't know you could do ..until I did it...!?
Very badly worn...so it looks like you could replace it I think? As you say cant hurt to try and yes the more parts the merrier...your philosophy has come in handy already ..

Yes, You can use it, but You´ll have to replace the entire drive line with M2 components.
The M2 is not necesarily slimmer than M3 but the pitch (teeth size) is smaller.

I haven´t seen it as a yokomo spare part - but it should be possible to make something out of an cross-pin mounted aluminum pulley with the same tooth count.

you should be able to find another pulley, is that 16tooth? there are a few companies that make aluminum ones, as well as plastic ones, you can modify them to fit on the slipper.

HPI, serpent, ofna, traxxas, among others that have belt driven cars with a 3mm pitch drive pulley. You might even be able to use the front drive pulley from another yokomo and modify it to fit on that slipper. I would advise to make sure you can engage the drive pin when you put it together, so that you aren't totally relying on the press fit onto the hub. That might mean a longer pin.

It should be a 15 tooth pulley. I have never seen a pulley that worn before. The YR4 direct drive adapter will work and they make them in M3. You wouldnt need to change your belts (unless they are as worn as that pulley) but you will need the YR4 center shaft to go with the pulley, I don't think it will bolt on to the slipper center shaft.
