is there a thread yet where this can be added to? I've been on the verge of selling my Pro and Jrx-T's because I was getting burned out that the only place I could still get parts was sabula tech. Great service, I like dealing with them, just limited sometimes.

Unfortunately its the case that running these vintage cars requires dedication and/or a stash of spares to fall back onto, Sabulatech/OldRC.com is the only 'shop' that I know of that clearly itemises & lists everything, specialising in vintage discontinued parts for our vintage Losis, other than that its a case of searching e'bay i'm afraid. Sometimes a breakage can put you out of action for weeks/months/years!
On the subject of running brushless with the LRM gearbox & breakages..... despite my enthusiasm for my JRX2's trouble-free running throughout this season I finally broke a diff gear a couple of weeks ago at my local indoor club - i've got a Thorpe gear that I might try, although unfortunately it doesn't have the bigger hole to suit the bearing from the stripped ball-raced gear. Got to say that I was really throwing the 'old girl' about & really enjoying putting in some quick laps... so much so that even with the stripped gear I was able to maintain the lead that I had built up in the final & win the race!

I'm late to this party but I will throw in my $0.02.
I have run a JRXT basher with an all stock LRM and a Castle 5700KV sidewinder system and beat the living crap out of it. No slipper. (there is one on there now but there wasn't for a long long time)
I would occasionally melt a diff if it was too loose. Key is to run the diff very very tight. No other power-related failures of the drivetrain, though the u-joint ends of the sliders did wear a lot and become sloppy.
