REM - see above :)

I do have a full set of light gold shocks I can use, found some .89 fronts in light and 1.32 rears. If the big bores really grind on my (color scheme wise), I can swap those on there. IF we get a true vintage class going, the gold shocks will go on immediately. Since I need to bang doors with B4.2s and 22s and RB6s, I chose to drop the big bores on immediately.

Hope I have some time to dig through my parts and find my black worlds type steering (houge) by friday. If not, the maiden voyage will need to wait another week (c'mon AE, get the white worlds steering released!!)

Looks good! The only thing I've done on mine is crack the seal.

What I meant was why did you choose that style of shock tower ???? Better geometry versus the others ???? More positioning holes for better tuning ???? Is that the shock tower set that most people choose who race the older buggy ????

It's a taller version of the shocktower from the worlds car that basically used the same front end geometry with the long arms. He lengthened it for longer large bore shocks... but it is still just a white version of the pinnacle of Team Associateds front shock tower design for the aluminum tub buggies.

Thanks clm, spot on.

Yes, the towers have the same mounting positions as the RC10 Worlds version. While they are slightly different to fit the newer shocks, they keep the SAME geometry as stock. I have test a few different WOIN set ups, and keep moving my car back to stock style arms/wheels. It just "feels" better to me.

As far as what the other racers use, I'm pretty sure its close if not the same. I've ran with CE towers as well, front matches the Worlds, the rear has 2 less adjustments, but end up in the same relative positions overall :)

Here are some other good options, maybe even no cutting :)

Awhile ago, I sent an e-mail to Kelly Lunsford wanting to know if he could bring back some Vintage Lunsford Turnbuckles for the RC10 Classic Reproduction.

I did receive an answer back yesterday saying there is no current release date, but they are working on it! 8)

Aaron, that sounds great :)

I ordered up a fresh A&L steering for this one :) I will swap out to White Worlds when AE releases them :)

Really looks good. My question sir, the CE arms you put on. Are they "whitened"? I'm just wondering if I go this route in the future if I mix whitened parts with the stockers, how will it look?

I thought that if you contacted him he could specify a checkout procedure on his website whereby he would put together a set with lengths to match your application? I've never asked for a set for a short arm rc10 though.

Edit: fixed the quoted section, sorry.

I didnt contact him, Aaron did :)

The front arms are NOT whitened, nor brand new, they are used and scratched up on the bottom. That was just elbow grease and simple green, with a grout scrubber!

Indoor or outdoor track ????

Mostly outdoor tracks, there are a few indoor tracks, I lower the car a touch and swap onto Suburbs/Barcodes, depending upon what I have :)

These tires were left over from an outdoor high bite blue groove tire eating track (basically a set of tires every battery pack, even in blinky 17.5).
