Not a lot of progress, but I had some time today to take some photos of the last mockup with the shocks. For the rear, I ended up using some 4mm spacers on the lower shock mounts. For the top, I was originally planning to modify 2 shock towers and laminate them together to provide the offset. But the way it is now seems to work OK, so I think I'll run with it like it is and see how it works. The front needed some spacers as well - that sandwich of washers and a 3MM spacer is just a temporary thing.

Looks good! I'll post up some pics of what I ended up using to mount the big bore shocks if I can find them and if you don't care of posting them here?

Please tell me it is an illusion that the rear shock leans forward, the rear arms with antisquat the move up and back. The further up they travel, the more of a bind they put the rear suspension into.

The car is gorgeous, very stunning. Love the colors.

The rear tower is just a short World's 3mm tower from RC Carbon Works. The wing mounts are from the B5M kit (91531).

Thanks guys! I think I'll start another post for the discussion of running big bore shocks on these cars. I thought there was one already, but I couldn't find it? I'm sure I'll have more input once I get this to the track and I still want to try my rear tower idea.
