My current design does not have that nut as you can see from 2014-08-13 dated exploded view drawing. When I get back home next week, I will check a corrective action for this. Sorry.
This does not affect optional "race" steering.

Ok, parts "NIX91-011 Steering bellcrank left" and "NIX91-012 Steering bellcrank right" have been updated (Shapeways also).
In picture above you can see updated versions in gray and first release versions in orange. If you need updated versions of NIX91-011 and NIX91-012 this is the link:

Unfortunately those who ordered "Complete Set1 SLS" before yesterday (2014-09-14) will receive first release versions. Still first release versions can be modified this way.

Original type steering feels really good and solid after this mod. Could be used in a runner for sure.
If you were about to use optional race steering in your runner, you can ignore this all.

Motor mount brace NIX63111 seems to work nicely.
I can not say the same of 3M abrasion resistant film. Maybe I cut it in wrong shape so it ripped away. More testing needed or maybe lexan protector sheet/under tray.

If a currently interested party determines he is not interested in the lot of molds, I will do that. :)

Do you guys know where I can get the aluminium 8-32 low nut for the steering? Not finding any at AE or Fastener Express.

Short of NOS I haven't had any luck either. None of the major fastener companies I've tried have them

they are called small pattern nuts. mcmaster has them in steel, stainless and brass, but not aluminum.

Sorry, I should have clarified the aluminum part. SS would be fine for most people

Thanks Limestang

What if you don't have 3/4" wide front wheels and you can't find them?
You need standard B4 front wheels ASC9588 and ASC7459 front axles.
Replace ASC6220 front axle with ASC7459 and cut wheel inner section off.

Thanks in advance.

My version, here you are... you can use existing edges and corners to guide your cut.
