So on to the next issue!

My front arms did broke today when testing the car, i guess they had dried out thru all thoose years.

I am looking for replacement arms, is there any newer traxxas models that fits or do i need to find TRX-1 arms?

Happy as always for answers!

No help there, though you may try liquid rc with the original part nr: they have some old stock.

I broke 2 rear blue eagle rear arms that came of the same car, with only a couple runs between them. Then I put 2 others on from another donor car, and they are both still good countless runs later. A lot depends on where you get your parts from: warm dry places = bad. It helps to boil the parts; the nylon takes up moist and becomes more flexible again.
Or put them in the dishwasher ;)

I have seen rc10's with traxxas front arms, maybe it works the other way around too?

The RPM ones look good, but might not go well together with the overall styling of your car:

For what it is worth, TRX-3 front arms will fit, although, you need to run the lower shock spacers that come with them and they will reduce the front track width by approximately 1.5cm or so. And there will be some turnbuckle math involved as well. Those are 2631R arms for TRX-3/TCP.

Don't they cause problems with the shocks? I think the mounting point is too far back or forward.

yes I have a trx1 with widetrack AE arms... the track is still too narrow though.

boil your parts before running them the next time around!

Maybe if you use the C-carriers and knuckle for hex rims : as on the current bandit, the track gets a bit wider again?

Negative. TRX-3 arms have the wide shock slot and run that aluminum spacer. You can put TRX-3 arms on a TRX-1 but TRX-1arms won't fit a TRX-3 without offsetting the shock tower or modding a Rustler / Bandit front bulkhead.

No reason why it wouldn't ;) All you need now is matching rears :D

that's super cool!
