The tracing is easy, but the application of the complex shape of this is no as easy. As I get the mask down, I realize that shading something where you can't see the edge is going to be really difficult.
As I look through the book I noticed the correct shape of the top section on the hood. I had to look at the underside of the original body to see what was under the nember sticker. Notice the change in the hook.

More updates... I'm taking my time with shadowing. I've never used Wicket Color's paint before and I'm much happier with the result of the black detailing paint than the Parma Fasblack.
Here are a couple of photos of how I did the side masks.
I did practice shading with the detail black first with my Viper NIX91 body

Shading complete, I'm pretty happy with it.

Thanks... there's so much more to this thread that I should add.
So, on the second body I accidently used the wrong colour blue

. I post things on the RC10 FB page too, and there was a guy from France that wanted to buy the second messed up Masami body

, but only if I painted a correct one
Here are the first two together
Now, on the third body, I've worked on shading and got that closer to the original. I also trimmed up the rainbow flame thing on the hood to make that closer to the correct shape. Needless to say the third one is nearly perfect. From using the Friskit paper stencils one too many times, the shapness of the RC10 logo on the hood is a little rough, but still sharper than the others somehow lol
Just one more to go and then I'm done with painting. The last one will be perfect and it's going to be well deserved. Sorry to keep you waiting so long Asso_man!, thanks you for being so patient.

I know you can wait, and that's why you are getting the cream of the crop.
