Now if there was ever slider axles that fit there sorta like the original Losi or Traxxas ones then axle plunge wouldn't matter, but that would necessitate different outdrives and the thicker axle might not fit in those cramped quarters.. Other option is custom inch and a half - 2 inch deep stealth outdrives lol.

hum like the losi slider idea! i dont think the losi axles would fit in the spindles esp to make it turn.

I was having the same issue in the front with my MonsterT

Here is my original design...worked great in plastic! Talked to shapeways folks though and they weren't' confident in the 3d printed stainless tolerances and I didn't want to take a chance wasting money.
