Either the hard hubs for the TF-4 (SPW-123, available with 0 and 2 degrees toe-in) or the hard hubs for the TF-5 (TFW-002). You'll also need a different size of universal (W-5063 or equivalent). However, it is possible those alloy hubs are not up to the task of handling a heavy 4WD buggy instead of a light 2WD buggy or on-road car. You may have to try the Lazer ZX-5/6 aluminum hubs instead, which were specially developed to replace the original ZX-5 plastic rear hub (which was the same design as the plastic TF-5 rear hub but broke a lot on the buggy).

Although I'm not sure why you'd want to try, as the Ultima RB Type-R rear arms are rare as hens teeth and the length of the arms is the same AFAIK...

Mmm puzzled also unsure why, it simpler to put wider hexes on the rear if a wider resr ends required, also cutting rear hubs to shorten or lengthening the wheelbase. On the hubs tho i had the only rb type r in the uk for some time and as the zxs used the same rear hubs was tested and worked really well on the zxr outdoors. I believe a company and going by memory are called kenon does alloy hubs which are identical and are much stronger, ive only bent one and was shifting at height when I broke it.

Looks great, are the stripes over the roof painted or decals?

Looks great! So, a late model,, with mk2 style front end, and 7 cell chassis. I just recently learned of 2 different mk2 style front towers, a and b,, and found within my own parts pile, 2 different rear towers,, similar, but mk1 and mk2 style.

The early mk1 style front tower still eludes me.

a couple of the decals had defects in them as well.
I own the artwork so you could not order it directly from MCI. I'll see if i feel any of the left overs are decent.

Just know it is A REALLY hard decal to apply. it took me 2 tries to get it good not perfect.
and i'm personally not 100% in love with it but hindsight is 20/20
If you could spare any that would be much appreciated
Would you consider remaking it to be more like the box art and we could split it?
I really want to get the decals of the prototype Turbo Optima Mid Special made

That will be good enough for me I am interested
Putting the decal on the gear cover is a very nice touch
What do you use to remove paint from the shell when doing restoration work on the shell?
I have a genuine shell painted yellow and just got the yellow plastic wing for it too. The back window was painted hello so the stripe will help break it up and I need to sort out some of the smaller stickers as they are not right ones or location using what I have here.
It came with a wing that had the stickers but was a smaller wing painted a more orange tinged yellow
I think being a genuine shell it deserves some TLC

Thanks I'll keep that in mind. I tried to upload a pic from my phone but its too large and not sure how to resize it on my phone

Edit, pic attached you can see the way it was painted in the front window area is unconventional for a ZX-R but I like it
The windows are smoked rather than black, I think the roof decal will make it look much nicer

Its going to be fitted to a vintage cf tub chassis when I eventually build it
