I did have the chassis shortened many years ago so that it was the correct wheel base , but unfortunately I found that it upset the handling too much on the track. The current configuration was the best compromise I could do.

I ma about to do a new body as I am bored with this paintjob & the Australian vintage race is coming up in a few months, so I like to turn up each year with new paint jobs.

Rizzo , i'm really sorry if i caused offence , i never meant to , my comment was more to highlight how close the contest was this month , it may have come out wrong the way i said it. sorry .

Love Rizzo's model!! beetle FTW! it sure looks like there's a few mods to it, for example the Body posts and possibly rear shock tower to fit the body. It would have been great to see it with the body off
