Are you sure you checked the right box for the log in? I’ve had to re-log-in like 6 times in the last 24 hours! Not a big deal but seems backwards for me at least as before it was like once a month or so
I've had the "Remember me" mod disabled for a few days now. Are you still experiencing the problem?

I haven’t had to log back in for several days.
If it helps the greater population it’s not a problem for me! I’m apparently the only one it effected

Well it appears then that the mod was at fault. If caused problems for you, it must have not worked properly for others as well. With that that being the case, I've removed it.

I will be working on the site today, so it will be closed periodically for maintenance purposes throughout the remainder of the day.
Edit: Just updated the forum software to the latest version.

We appreciate all the work you are putting into the site to make it better in general, and also to try to make individual requests work!
Thanks!

You're welcome! I embrace the opportunity to do it as I know it's appreciated. It always drove me nuts how a place like this wasn't being maintained from the technological side of things. I enjoy the challenges and learning experience that comes with it. Akin to how I think R/C is for most of us.

I just installed an SSL certificate to make the site secure. You should no longer get warnings from your browser about security risks. Although posts with images linked to from 3rd party sites that aren't secure will give a mixed content warning. SSL certificates used to just be for eCommerce, but now Internet standards are requiring that all websites encrypt the data being transmitted over them.

Thanks a lot for all the hard work
I've also been asked like 4 times in a row to log in this morning... cleaned up all the rc10talk cookies on my 'puter, and could log back on first time right after

I had the same log in problem this morning on a Android mobile device. Cleared cache, history, and cookies and all is well. I'm on the road so will see about laptops when I get back home.

I had to do the same. At first I just did it for this site... no dice, I had to clear everything for everything, then it worked.
