I went with my brother to the Twin 125s (at the time) at Daytona when I was in college when he was going to Embry Riddle. I don't remember much about it, which should show you how much interest I have/had. I have been to MIS out in BFE Brooklyn, MI a number of times when I was with Roush as I used to give customer tours of the garage and Pit Lane But some of the other management employees got a little pissy about grabbing the glory, so that didn't last long as I grew tired of it real quick. But it was an experience.

As for road racing, that is another story (LOVE IT), back in the day been to Daytona 24, Sebring 12, Miami GP, West Palm Beach GP...... more recently, I have been to Road America, Daytona 24, Sebring 12, Laguna Seca, Mid Ohio, Detriot GP, and the grand daddy of them all Le Mans (all ALMS events, except for the Daytona 24). I think I am going to Petit this year, as it is alot closer to AL than MI.

You take killer pictures of the races. Your interest really shows in the quality of your work.

I really miss taking motorsport pics too. Spent too much money and other photogs get real nasty with you if you are a "hobbyist." Thanks for the complement.

Not exactly, you have to know how to "see." I only use a 10D and a 70-200 2.8, 550EX Flash.... I think I spent $3000.00 back in 2001....... but being a member of Canon Professional helped so I didn't have to plunk down $15K for a 600 4.0.
