No biggie man, the old 6 gear is a funky size to try to make work, It just may end up without a diff as it would be quite easy to just use a series of pinions of appropriate sizes to replicate it.

For diff plates, can you use ordinary washers? For gears, can you simply print them? With a car this small and light, I'd bet printed gears would hold up okay. Is it worth trying??

What I've done before is buy thrust bearings of eBay that have the right size washer , this often means the balls will be the wrong size but you can then get the right size ones , just be sure the thrust washers do not have a groove for the balls to run in .
I would not print diff gears that small but there are a lot of upgrade metal diff gears for WLtoys cars like the A959 1/18 scale that would do the job .

If I were you,

I'd actually decide on a diff and build the case around that. the scale factor between the stealth the e-revo diff is only 1.3, not quite the 1.6 you're looking for.

The OD od the center E-Revo diff is 19.3mm, I think it will be hard to find anything smaller than that. If that is too big for the case, you could scrap the idler, and drive the input shaft directly to the diff. Of course the motor then has to either go on the opposite side, or run in reverse.

Or you try to find the smallest usable idler and drive gears, or fabricate some out of pinion gears.

I hope some of these ideas help.

Good luck,

Tony

i apologize, all the modeling between this and the losi mini kinda burnt me out. the big issue i had working up a trans was finding a diff small enough to not raise the outputs too high above the chassis, was like dropping a gt diff in an original stealth. I very much was trying to stick as close to og as I could and throwing a trans that did not resemble the stealth or 6 gear was not acceptable to me :) if push comes to shove my fallback plan is no diff and use a series pinions to transmit power

and now with the mini jrxt out I need to acquire some parts from one to verify my losi parts.

if someone wants access to the models on tinkercad let me know.
