It has knobby front tires, chrome looking wheels, and is a darker green now. SOLD!
Are those chrome knockoffs on the box?

Looks like the motor plate is even anodized green this time. The green chassis parts would definitely be sweet for a custom build.

I actually thinks it pretty cool. I'm happy that they are releasing all these buggies.

How about a John Deere or a Whole Foods RC10 or maybe a FAV RC10?

I would have preferred a more fitting blue color. This is just random and clashing to a high degree. Almost looks military... A little black dye and you can have yourself a FAV RC10 like @XLR8 mentioned.

Looks like the front rims are 1.5", like the '85 IFMAR car was.
I would guess they'll have the other colors at some point too. The Losi ProMoto MX comes in red, blue and green, the green one still costs $50 more than the others.
I had a Green Machine in late '78, have a picture of me with it under the Christmas tree at 6 years old, somewhere.
The RC10 Green Edition will be under my tree this year. Have a spare Protech body, might try to finish a Green theme body before the Green Edition is released.

I would imagine some will paint the body translucent green with no backing and just use the kit box art stickers so you can see the chassis through it also.

Off topic, sorry. The reason for the price difference is the green ProMoto comes with battery and charger, the red and blue don’t
