Parts will be assembled later, as I grabbed the main chassis and pod plate for cleaning. Chassis needs also deburring and enlarging holes.
But overall those parts are same as for my first RC300 project.

That is a nice touch. I assume the steering link was a fixed length?

Maybe not really. Because the original plastic radio plate didn“t have cutouts for the servo. So you could use any servo and slightly different servo positions.
But the multiple positions for the link at the servo saver arm were outstanding.
I think the reason was maybe for adjusting the steering angle. Because at that time there was no dual rate available at the transmitter.

Build continues, whenever I can find some time.
Rear axle blocks cleaned, bearing holes deburred and pins for the disk brake shoes mounted.

Ball bearings mounted to the rear axles blocks.
Blocks mounted to the rear pod plate and aligned for a free, smooth running of the bearings.
