Given AE's recent track record with these re-re's, I'm betting this one will have a standard gold ano tub. They always get at least one thing wrong.
Of course, I hope I lose that bet.
Anyway, I'm good on Worlds cars so I will pass on this one and continue to hope for a '91 Stealth -- although it would likely use
gold carbon.
Hey at least the DS had a black tub.

New post on the AE facebook page. This just very well might be more of a "tribute" kinwald car like the the halsey release was instead of a rerere worlds kit.

I also noticed that it doesn't have threaded shocks like the 2014 release. It does have different front axles and nuts though. Guess it still won't be 100% accurate lol.

They're making a Kinwald tribute car, not a Worlds car. But it still won't be accurate. Like the Halsey car, there will be no chassis or parts mods. And going by the pic they showed, the colors of the plastics probably won't be right either.

Well the chassis is black at least. Appears to have the black hex screws instead of the aluminum phillips screws though.

The fact that the chassis is machined is way better than I expected. Couldn't really care about certain screws to be honest, that's the easy stuff.

I was just coming back to say.... i guess I have to retract my last comment.
I see some chassis mods in the latest picture.

Is that an extra tall slipper area in that gear cover?

Yeah, and after zooming in the screws may not be the black hex. If they are, those are easy to replace as you say.

The only phillips screws are the 8-32 ones under the car not sure what you're looking at.

That's the ones I'm looking at, the ones that can be seen in that pic that go through the rear arm holders.

Im a little surprised with the chassis and motor plate detail. They didn't do any trimming for the halsey car and his original car was way more chopped up than kinwalds car was.

Maybe they're learning/improving as they go. The low point was the RC10CC.
