I'm loving every picture, great shots Jay. Is it any easier doing R/C, not as far to walk around the track I suppose

but from a photographic standpoint. What camera are you using, the results are excellant and the faces of the players really bring home the community aspect of this forum.

This is my first applied attempt at shooting RC Cars. I think 1:1 (real cars) is much easier. These things are so small, there is not much surface area to focus on as opposed to a real car. Trucks are much better than buggies, that is for sure. I am not getting the results that I would have liked to. I was slated to give some images to Jimmy over at Oople, but quite frankly I am a bit embarassed to do so as Jimmy is the best RC photog in the world (in my opinion.... and I mean that).
I have my Canon 10D, a 70-200mm 2.8, with my 550EX flash. Thanks for the complements, I do appreciate.
Jay

Quote of the day (Sunday.... so far ): MelvinsArmy, "No, you have no reservation at this hotel"......(Scott made a reservation at the wrong hotel... the Holiday Inn and not the Holiday Inn Express)..... there was another quote that went with it, but I don't think I can post that here as it involved some colorful metaphors.

How's the resolution on your camera? Can you take a pic of the print-out that gets posted by the officials?
... Then you just throw that puppy into photohack and highlight the RC10Talk Team drivers.
I too want to say great job on the photograph and the race coverage. Thanks Lex, we all appreciate it.
