Mrlexan, you need to take a picture of your gear and post your setup/specs too. I can't be the only geek who is interested.

Right now, yes, Scr8p does have my camera..... I didn't want to carry it on the plane, pay to check it and risk having it damaged. Once I get it I will post some pics and some specs.

Sorry I dont have a digital camera but here is the scoop on the car. RC10 team car with most of Mark Westerfields set up on it with the exception of rpm arms on the back and jconcepts rear cvds with b4 stub axles and b4 hub carriers. These allow the use of b4 wheels all around. As for the electronics I used an LRP comp speedo and a novak 17.5 motor. I would like to thank Mark and Travis for all their help over the weekend.

How are you holding the battery in?
It looks like an AE battery cup, but there are no corresponding screws on the picture of the chassis bottom.

Tamiya Frog Re-release:

Stock Frog with these exceptions:
Yeah Racing shocks
CRP front shock towers and hardware
Trinity Cobalt 27T racing motor
Tamiya rear hex adapter with new Tamiya 2.2" wheels

LRP Indy 200 ESC, Nomadio radio, Futaba s9405 servo, Orion Carbon 3200 Race Lipo
Front shocks 50mm length, Associated black springs, 3 hole pistons, 20 wt Losi oil
Rear shocks 80 mm length, Yeah soft springs, 3 hole pistons, 30wt losi oil, .25" limiters under piston
Losi pre-scrubbed red front tires, J Concepts Double d's rear in soft compound.
Gear ratio was the middle setting offered in kit.

I had some issues at first with the dogbones popping out due to the longer rear shocks, but after putting the limiters in I had zero trouble out of this car the rest of the weekend. No breakage. Plenty fast, lots of steering, LOTS of fun! Anybody looking for a reasonaby priced entry into the classic class next year need to give the re-re's a thought.

Correct, AE battery cup, held down with 3M's outdoor double sided tape. Found at Walmart's anywhere in the paint department. It's the best "servo" tape I have found, and it's cheap. Grey in color with the red peel off backing. The stock Losi battery holddowns were not allowing the use of the new lipos, so I figured I'd give this a try before drilling more holes in the bottom....
