i can see maybe chipping the very edge of the chassis where the stock motor mount attaches, but more than likely it would just flex like rpm plastic is supposed to. you will definitely not break the entire back end off by running a lite sink...

i raced one at the vintage nats. i have no doubt i could bash it at a skatepark and not do anything more than pop a ball end.

Yeah I don't mean the entire rear end, just the bit behind the gearbox. It'll flex but eventually it might break. I wouldn't risk it.. Also kind of defeats the purpose of a motor guard when the motor guard can move enough to hit the motor.
