Well lets give the modification I was referencing a try. You should now be able to freely edit your posts with no time limit! It keeps a revision of all posts made for 3 days. This way if someone tries pulling any funny business, it can be reversed if caught in time.

I wish I had caught it sooner but didn't realize it until a couple of days later. If I remember right something similar happened with another member or two around the same time. They had far fewer posts though.

I still don’t even understand how it can happen. Wouldn’t it take days to go through each post you ever made and replace it with “…”?

Considering that I use my phone and tablet, it would take a while. But someone using a desktop and Windows command codes could do it much, much faster.

Never underestimate what some people will do when they get butthurt. I've worked around several of that type (whiney bitches!). They are the precursors of the Millennials of today.

But people "Thumbs" has done research on his posts just shy of him pulling out, there were no signs and anyone fxxking with him... plus no one knows what happened to "Charlie Don't Surf" either.

It may have been something that happened behind the scenes. Or something may have just set them off.

Hell, he may have deleted all his posts everywhere. Whatever set him off may have been somewhere else.

Someone who'd do something that childish is clearly irrational, and you can't use common sense when trying to justify the actions of an irrational person.

Hah! My cousins are convinced I know what happened. I don't know and don't care! You have to be psycho to go thru that much trouble. I believe it was something behind the scenes, as suggested. Hopefully he's ok. Sad for all the lost data that went when he did.

I checked several random posts. The edit tab was on all of them.

Notice: We're going to have to start back up asking for donations again in order to cover the monthly hosting costs starting in 4 days on August 1st!

As you may remember, we made enough from the raffle last October to cover a years worth of hosting. Well there's a few things in the works now which made it necessary to dip into those funds a little bit. I can't elaborate further as nothing is set in stone at this point. With that being the case and as a result, we're going to have to start accepting full donations again starting 3 months early. I hope you can find it in your hearts to understand.
